HR/Recruiting Manager (Indonesia, Jakarta)
Responsibilities:
- Work with the management to identify positions which need filled, carry out interviews with the relevant managers and draft JD for review and approval. Maintain and organize and continuously improve database of job descriptions.
- Identify, short list, interview and assess candidates according to the company's recruiting process including test administration so as to generate short list of candidates for final interview and selection by management.
- Maintain a pipeline of candidates for hard to fill roles by continuously networking on LinkedIn within target source countries and within our industry, maintaining access to any relevant candidate databases, tracking the job movements of any potential hires and approaching passive candidates etc. Primarily assisting the Group President & CEO for strategic hires or hard to fill positions in the region.
- Short list, compare, select and manage the services of 3rd party recruiters in specific foreign countries to assist with filling hard to fill positions or for new Esco regional office start up. Again, primarily assisting the Group President & CEO for strategic hires or hard to fill positions.
- Assist the Group CEO and Board of Directors in performing initial screening of senior management candidates or with any other aspect of their recruitment. This will occur mainly online and without limitation on geographical area.
- Represent the HQ in performing final round interview of any candidates recommended/pre selected by Area managers of the subsidiary companies according to the process as defined by the Group CEO and Board of Directors. Again this will occur mainly online / via phone.
- Some travel within the Southeast Asia will be required to interact with management in Singapore and Bintan(main manufacturing facility), and to certain other Southeast Asian locations to assist senior management in filling positions and conducting in person interviews.
- Propose and implement improvements to the recruitment process (group wide standards) including further refinements to examination and test process.
- Develop / improve induction program (group wide standards) for new hires for on boarding.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of recruitment experience, preferably in manufacturing / engineering industry.
- Some corporate HR experience will be a plus.
- Bachelors degree.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently.
